Harikumar sizzles
THRISSUR: Harikumar’s quickfire unbeaten century (160) enabled Century CC score a thumping win over Pioneer CC (Cherpu) in the Santosh Menon memorial all-Kerala cricket tournament here on Wednesday.
Century CC aided by Harikumar’s knock piled up 256 for four in 25 overs. Pioneer CC in reply could just manage 123 runs for loss of nine wickets in their allotted overs.
In another match, BPCL Kochi Refineries scored a facile eight-wicket win over Oktopals Sports Club (Thrissur).
The scores: Century CC 256 for four in 25 overs (Harikumar 160 n.o.) bt Pioneer CC 123 for nine in 25 overs; Oktopals Sports Club (Thrissur) 192 for eight in 30 overs (Praveen V.
