Three killed in road accidents

BANGALORE: Two persons were killed when the motorcycle they were riding hit a stationary lorry in Anchepalya near Bidadi on Wednesday.

One person who was riding a pillion was seriously injured. According to Ramanagaram Rural police, Lokesh (23), Narayana (22) and Jagadish were coming on the motorcycle to the city from Maddur.

All the three fell off the motorcycle after it hit the lorry. They were all taken to a private hospital, where Lokesh and Narayana died.

The condition of Jagadish is critical.

All of them were the residents of Maddur, the police said.

Motorcycle skids

A 24-year-old man was killed after he fell off his motorcycle near the H.K.B.K. College in Shivajinagar Traffic police station limits on Wednesday.

According to the police, the motorcycle rider lost balance over the vehicle and fell.

He died on the spot, the police said.

The police are yet to identify the victim.
