Woman murdered

An unidentified woman in her mid 20s was found murdered with her throat slit and body partially burnt at a secluded place off Puppalaguda Outer Ring Road in Narsingi on Wednesday. The killers torched the body after slitting her throat, the local police said. Her dishevelled clothes raised suspicions of sexual assault but the police said they were waiting for the autopsy report.

M. Raghavendra Varma, 25, died on Wednesday when a lorry hit the motorcycle he was riding near Bollaram. The victim from Uppuguda was returning from Siddipet to city when the accident occurred. He was working with City Bank’s Somajiguda branch.
