DAVANGERE: Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party president D.V. Sadananda Gowda and spokesperson S. Suresh Kumar on Wednesday made it clear that the former Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa will be the party’s chief ministerial candidate in the coming elections to the Legislative Assembly. Both the leaders made separate statements to this effect after the valedictory of the two-day State executive here. On Tuesday, BJP national vice-president and Karnataka in-charge Yashwant Sinha indicated that the party would have to follow the prescribed procedures before taking any important decisions.
