All set for the finale of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, to be aired this Saturday

Stage on fire: Jeetendra in the grand finale of ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa – Dancing with the Stars’.

After 13 weeks of dance performances, surprising results and some shocking eliminations, the winners of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa -- Dancing with the Stars’ will finally be announced on Sony Entertainment Television this Saturday.

On judgment day, superstar Akshay Kumar and model-turned-actor Katrina Kaif, who will soon be seen together in the film ‘Welcome’, will be the special guests.

Celebrity judges, Jeetendra, Urmila Matondkar and Shiamak Davar and the three finalists will take turns to showcase some of their best performances . For the finalists, Sandhya Mridul, Prachi Desai and Jay Bhanushali, there will be solo dancing, dancing with their choreographers and dancing with judges. The other highlights will be performances by Tapur Chaterji, Cyrus, Rohit and Mona.

Jeetendra will be shown rocking with three beauties, Sudha Chandran, Mini Mathur and Sonali Kulkarni. Urmila will also give another scintillating performance. Choreographer Shiamak Davar will dance with the beauties and give a demonstration of his famous dance steps. The 12 choreographers will also take to the stage together to give an electrifying performance.

The winner of the show will be declared amid dancing, rigorous voting and the company of glittering stars. Albert Almeida of Sony Entertainment Television says the second season of the show has witnessed a higher level of audience interactivity and enthusiasm from the celebrity contestants. “For the first time, the show introduced a wild card entry on public demand. Our grand finale plans will complete the glamour and glitter quotient of Jhalak with Akshay and Katrina crowing the winner,” adds Albert.
