Muzaffarnagar: Arms licences of about 98 people in district has been cancelled after they were found involved in criminal activities, police said on Thursday. “On the recommendation of the police, District Magistrate has cancelled arms licence of 98 people who were found involved in some criminal activities,” Senior Superintendent of Police Ashok Jain said. A special drive was launched during which arms licences of a total 15,000 people were checked, Mr. Jain said.
