Muzaffarnagar: A local court on Thursday directed the police to register a case of cheating against an actress, a film director and three others for allegedly failing to repay the money borrowed from a financier. Financier Rajvir Singh had filed a case in the court after police failed to act on his complaint against the actress Suman Negi and four others after they failed to return Rs 9 lakh borrowed from him, prosecution said. According to Mr Singh, they had borrowed money to make two films ‘Ab Aya Na Maza’ and ‘Ramghar Ki Masti’ in 2006, but did not return the amount. A case under various sections of the IPC was registered against the actress and film director Bhupendra Titoria on the court’s directive.
