“Revise BPL list”

CHENGAM: Chengam panchayat union chairman G. Kumar has written to Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) president M. Krishnaswamy to impress upon Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi the need to take a revised list of people living below-the-poverty line (BPL).

Mr. Kumar said that the present list was based on economic status of the people in 2002.

Lot of errors has been encountered in the list particularly in the villages, he said.
