Mining history congress begins

BHUBANESWAR: The three-day seventh International Mining History Congress (IMHC) got under way here on Thursday with some 100 delegates from India slated to deliberate on mineral exploration, mining and metallurgical practices.

Inaugurating the seminar, State Steel and Mines Minister Padmanabha Behera said exploration must be accompanied by innovation, application of modern tech, safety activities, induction of new technology and mineral beneficiation.
