Bakrid holiday

Thiruvananthapuram: The Central government offices in Kerala will observe the holiday for Bakrid on December 20 instead of December 21. The Central Government Employees Welfare Co-ordination Committee said here on Thursday that this followed the State government’s declaration of Bakrid holiday on December 20. The committee added that if the State government sanctioned any additional holiday that day would be observed as restricted holiday by the Central government offices. — Special Correspondent
