Best translator award

NEW DELHI: Varyam Singh of JNU here has won the best translator in Russian language award. The award has been instituted by the Boris Yeltsin Foundation, Moscow.

Russian Ambassador Vyacheslav I. Trubnikov gave away the award to Tara Negi, wife of Prof. Singh, at a function here on Wednesday.

Prof. Singh is currently abroad.

Speaking on the occasion, RCSC Director Fyodor A. Rozovskly pointed out the meritorious service rendered by Prof. Singh in consolidating Indo-Russian relations.
