Rahul Mahajan’s wife seeks divorce
Gurgaon: Fifteen months after their marriage, the wife of Rahul Mahajan, son of slain BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, on Thursday filed a divorce petition at a court here.
Shweta Mahajan filed the petition in the court of District and Sessions Judge Ramendra Jain. The court has fixed the date of hearing for Rahul Mahajan on January 24 next. Her lawyers told reporters that Ms. Shweta and Mr. Rahul Mahajan, who were long-time friends, had mutually decided to seek divorce.
“It’s a matter of mutual consent and private matter. I don’t want to talk on it any more and what I have said is said and speculation is not part of it and my vocabulary,” Mr. Rahul Mahajan told reporters. — PTI
