College of Fisheries triumphs

MANGALORE: College of Fisheries (Mangalore) has won the overall championship in the inter-collegiate sports and games meet of Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, Bidar held at Hebbal, Bangalore recently.

The college with a tally of 87 points brought home the title for the third consecutive year. Veterinary College, Hebbal (Bangalore) was runner-up with 59 points.

Asha of College of Fisheries also bagged the individual best athlete award with a tally of seven gold medals.

The victorious team was felicitated at a function held at the college.
