Bangalore: The practical wisdom of Ayurveda or the “science of life” is being rediscovered as a remedy for a host of modern-day ailments. The detoxification properties of Panchakarma therapies are now being acknowledged. And, so it is little wonder that Ayurcare, the Ayurvedic health care chain, is doing so well. Ayurcare opened its second centre in Bangalore (and its 18th in India) on Thursday, at Jayanagar. TreatmentThe centre will offer treatment for chronic ailments such as joint pain, spondilitis, arthritis, migrane, sinusitis and back pain. It also offers therapies for sleep disorders, stress management, weight reduction and post-delivery care. Sample these therapies: “Navtejas” for people who work at the computer constantly; “Sensory Bliss”, a rejuvenation programme that focuses on the five senses; and then there is a special programme for brides and grooms to ensure you are your glowing best on the big day.
