Six get rigorous imprisonment

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Fast Track Court Judge S. Soman has sentenced six persons to six years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs.15,000 after they were found guilty of attempting to murder the temple authorities and worshippers during a festival at the Muthiyakkonam Sree Bhagavathy temple in Pallikkal on February 2003.

The persons found guilty are Subairkutty, Baiju, Jafar, Sudhir, Sajir and Biju.
