False alarm at IGI Airport

NEW DELHI: An abandoned lunch-box created a scare at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here on Thursday causing the bomb detection and disposal squad to swing into action. However, the box was found empty.

The box was spotted outside the international terminal around 7-15 p.m., following which the airport authorities were alerted. The bomb detection squad was immediately pressed into service and the box checked.
