2 pilgrims die of heart attack in Tirumala

TIRUMALA: Two devotees, including a woman who had come for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara, died after suffering massive heart attack.

According to Tirumala police, Nagaratnamma (48), native of Tallapalla village in Pileru mandal died soon after coming out of the main temple complex in the early hours of Thursday.

In a similar incident, another devotee Gurunadham (50), a native of Guntur, who was trekking up the Tirumala footpath on Thursday evening suddenly collapsed at the Divyanamam point about 1 km from here after suffering a cardiac arrest.
