Kidnap case: police working on clues

WARANGAL: The mystery of 11-year-old girl Manisha continues on the third day on Thursday while the police still claim to be working on the clues.
The kidnappers stopped making calls for fear of being trapped by the police. The kidnappers initially made call from the public booths but now stopped. The entire police force in the town was on tenterhooks. The Superintendent of Police Soumya Mishra is personally monitoring the progress interacting with the personnel engaged in the operation.
Meanwhile, two more new special teams were constituted in addition to the four already set up to nab the kidnappers.
Police working out on different clues and were also suspecting the hand of close relatives of the girl.
The kidnappers demanded an amount of Rs. 25 lakh from the girl’s father M. Sadanandam, who is a trader at agricultural market in Warangal town.
Police in neighbouring districts were also rendering their help in solving the case that had become a challenge to the Warangal district police.
