K. Rajagopal re-appointed
CHENNAI: Yielding to requests from members of the working committee, K. Rajagopal consented to once again take up the president’s post of the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Rajagopal had submitted his resignation on expiry of his term of office. However, at the working committee meeting held on December 13, in which representatives from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala participated, it was unanimously decided to re-appoint him to the post. In deference to their wishes, Mr. Rajagopal agreed to serve once again as the president of the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce, according to a press release. — Special Correspondent
