TIRUVARUR: Fifty acres of land is required for establishing industrial estate, Chairman and Managing Director of Small Industries Development Corporation (SIDCO) D. Rajendran said.

He inspected the lands identified for establishing industrial estates by SIDCO at Vaipur and Pulivalam in Tiruvarur taluk and Thyagarajapuram in Nannilam taluk. Collector M. Chandrasekaran accompanied him.

Earlier, Mr. Rajendran held discussions with entrepreneurs at the Collectorate. P. Maheswari, District Revenue Officer; Ramadoss, Lead District Manager, Indian Overseas Bank; V. Raghavan, Assistant General Manager, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, participated.
