BJP seeks notification for filling jobs in Telangana

HYDERABAD: BJP activists staged a dharna in front of A.P. Public Service Commission on Friday demanding that a separate notification be issued for filling up vacancies in Telangana.

Earlier, a delegation led by former MLA Baddam Bal Reddy met the commission’s chairman Y. Venkatram Reddy and submitted a memorandum in this regard.

Addressing the activists, Mr. Reddy alleged that injustice was being meted out to Telangana people for the past 100 years and said that separate public service commissions should be set up for Andhra and Telanagan regions. This was the just demand of Telangana people, he added.

Meanwhile, in a letter to Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, State BJP president, Bandaru Dattatreya demanded the Government publish a white paper on the transactions of the lands pertaining to refugees that took place during the last years.
