ANANTAPUR: The district police launched a special drive on Friday to stamp out factionalism by forming four teams with 28 armed reserve and special police personnel for continuous and complete surveillance on the faction-ridden villages and faction-prone families and persons. With the help of intelligence inputs the teams would also keep an eye on the factionists’ activities. The teams would be vested with powers to conduct inspection on the houses of factional elements.
