TRS poser to TDP

Staff Reporter

Sangareddy: Member of Legislative Council and Members of Legislative Assembly belonging to the Medak unit of Telangana Rashtra Samithi demanded former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to withdraw the letter submitted to the Pranab Mukherjee committee opposing Statehood to Telangana.

In an open letter, they pointed out that opposition to Telangana has routed out TDP from the region and particularly from Medak district. They demanded that the need of the hour is a change in the policies rather than a personal change as announced by Naidu few days ago. The TRS leaders raised 18 questions in the four page letter and demanded answers from him before embarking on his road show in the district. The questions varied from sale of Nizam Sugars, spurt in migration due to unemployment, suicides by farmers, particularly in the Telangana region, encounters, etc.
