BELLARY: Deputy Commissioner Arvind Srivastav has said, according to a press release, that the Bellary City Corporation will not hesitate to file police complaints against citizens who fail to regularise unauthorised tap connections before January 31, 2008. Those unlawfully drawing water, have been asked to pay a regularisation fee along with fine before the due date. The prescribed fee for domestic connections is Rs. 2,000, apart from a fine of Rs. 500. For non-domestic connections, the fee is Rs. 4,000 in addition to a fine of Rs. 500, and for commercial connections, the fee is Rs. 8,000 with a fine of Rs. 600. — Staff Correspondent
