MALAPPURAM: The Passport Office here will conduct a passport adalat for the applicants of Malappuram and Palakkad districts on December 24. The Passport Office will function normally on that day, and applicants can avail themselves of all normal facilities. Passport Officer K. Muraleedharan said that those who had applied for passports before October 31 and had grievances relating to the issue of passport and other services could apply for the adalat. They should indicate their file number, name, address, contact numbers, and the brief subject in their application to the Passport Officer. The application for the adalat should reach the Passport Officer before December 19. Applications can either be sent by post, or emailed, or dropped in the box kept outside the Passport Office. Mr. Muraleedharan said that the applicants should bring all documents in original. The envelope should be boldly marked with Passport Adalat December 2007, he said. Applications should be sent to the Passport Officer, Intercity Arcade, Down Hill P.O., Malappuram, or emailed to rpo.malappuram@mea.gov.in, said Mr. Muraleedharan.
