Ad firm promoter ends life

BHUBANESWAR: Ashok Nanda, one of the promoters of the city-based advertising and public relations firm Sanket Communications, committed suicide here on Friday.

Nanda, who was born in 1962 and a bachelor, played a key role in taking the agency to national as well as international levels. The exact reason behind his taking the extreme step was not known immediately.

The police completed the preliminary inquest at his residential apartment in Nayapalli. Post-mortem on the body and cremation would take place on Saturday.
