Bangalore: Corporation Bank will introduce for its rural customers, the kind of technology-enabled services not yet available to most urban customers, Union Minister of State for Finance, Pawan Kumar Bansal has said. He was launching “CorAccess,” the bank’s remote access smart cards for villages not close to any branch, near Malur in Kolar district. The smart cards could also have multiple uses ranging from ID cards for voters to proving eligibility for various differential interest offers from government agencies, Mr. Bansal said. — Special Correspondent
