Mr. Frederick George Creed, 84, who revolutionised the world newspaper industry with his teleprinter system, invented in a tiny workshop in Britain, died at Croydon near London on December 11, it was announced in London. Born in Canada, he came to Britain 60 years ago when the daily Press was still issuing week-old foreign news. He perfected his idea for faster communication of news.
