Inflation rate rises to 3.75 p.c.

NEW DELHI: Wholesale prices-based inflation rate unexpectedly rose to 3.75 per cent for the week ended December 1, 2007, from 3.01 per cent in the previous week after jet fuel, some food products and manufactured items turned dearer.
