Century CC enters final

THRISSUR: Century CC, Ernakulam defeated BPCL KRL by 33 runs to enter the final of the Santosh Menon memorial all-Kerala cricket tournament here on Friday.

Half-centuries from Abhishek Hedge (78) and Harikumar (67) enabled Century CC to score 232 for nine in 40 overs. In reply, KRL was dismissed for 199 runs as Shimnaj took four for 39. K.J. Rakesh (83) top scored for KRL.

The scores: Century CC, Ernakulam 232 for nine in 40 overs (Abhishek Hegde 78, Harikumar 67, Laxman three for 46) bt BPCL KRL 199 in 36.4 overs (K.J. Rakesh 83, Shimnaj four for 39).
