Foundation stone laid

BANGALORE: The foundation stone for the auditorium in memory of economist K. Venkatagiri Gowda, was laid in Bangalore University on Friday. Savithri Venkatagiri Gowda, wife of the economist, laid the foundation stone. Ms. Gowda donated Rs. 50 lakh towards the construction of the auditorium. She hoped that the auditorium would be constructed in time and be useful for academic deliberations.
