Students protest CET dates

BANGALORE: More than 200 students from different colleges in the city, under the banner of Students’ Federation of India, on Friday, staged a demonstration, demanding the authorities at the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) to space out the Common Entrance Test (CET). The KEA recently announced the schedule of the CET 2008 and put all the three papers - Physics and Chemistry (combined paper), Mathematics and Biology – on April 19. The Kannada language tests for Gadinadu and Horanadu candidates are to be held on the next day at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. — Staff Reporter
