‘Metro rail project is corruption-free’

BANGALORE: M.S. Nagedra, Executive Director of Metro Rail Corporation Limited, said the Rs. 600-crore metro rail project in Bangalore is totally corruption-free. At a lecture organised by the Kannada Yuvajana Sangha and All India Consumer Rights Protection Trust, Mr. Nagedra said the Metrorail can traverse around 35 km in the city and the fare would be about one-and-a-half times more than the Pushpak services run by the Bangalore Metro Transport Corporation.
