Naidu frustrated: CLP

HYDERABAD: The Congress Legislature Party has said that Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu’s remarks against his partymen and others exposed his frustration.

Speaking to reporters here on Friday, Government Chief Whip N. Kiran Kumar Reddy said the comment made by Mr. Naidu that he would not hesitate to wind up the party, if the leaders did not stop infighting only showed that he had lost all hopes of returning to power. He said the TDP chief even tried to provoke farmers to take to the streets demanding higher prices for agricultural crops but the latter ignored his call. He also accused him of dumping all those who had worked for his political elevation.

He also denied that he had ever made critical remarks against former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and P.V. Narasimha Rao.
