Run a mile from this boring flick
Film: Maharajasri
Cast: Rishi, Nikita
Direction: S.S.Niwas
If a movie were to be declared utterly boring, then this one is it. The director should be punished for inflicting trauma on viewers who go to watch the film in good faith. Rishi a very talented and bright student calls for a school reunion and flips for Nikita his class mate.
He proposes to her suddenly and so casually that the lady refuses to believe. She wants to experience the thrill of falling in love so plays hard to get, puts the hero to many a ridiculous test and finally says yes. Nikita and Rishi meet Saikumar (Nikita’s brother) to take his blessings and from then onwards the suspense begins. There is hardly any bond between any of the characters and Rishi’s pale expressions fail to help the film rise above the surface Brahmanandam as an LIC agent struggles to evoke laughter, most of his lines have been censored.
A preposterous plot, pathetic comedy, bad screenplay, jerky editing and mediocre songs compel the audiences out of the theatres. For information, the film is presented by former actress Raasi and is directed by her husband Niwas.
