Photo ID cards to be issued

BODI: The Spices Board has decided to issue photo identity card to cardamom growers to enable them to take part in e-auction introduced at the auction centre in Bodinaickanur recently.

It has started collecting applications from the growers and their associations. The applicants must furnish particulars about the location and total area under cardamom cultivation and attach two passport size photographs. The associations may also collect applications from their members and submit them either to the field offices or to the head office in Kochi.
