Osmania, ANU post wins

VIJAYAWADA: Host Acharya Nagarjuna and Osmania universities registered two victories each in the women league fixtures in the all India inter-zonal inter-university netball championship at ANU grounds here on Saturday.

The results:

Men: Delhi bt Gurunanak Dev 41-35, ANU bt Pune 42-25, Osmania bt Kurukshetra 50-32, Punjabi bt Bangalore 29-28, Delhi bt Kurukshetra 40-32, ANU bt Bangalore 51-45, Osmania bt Gurunanak Dev 50-39, Pune bt Punjabi 46-38.

Women: Gurunanak Dev bt Bharatidasan 49-36, ANU bt Kurukshetra 43-38, Osmania bt Pt. Ravi Shankar 43-31, Annamalai bt Punjab 46-19, Osmania bt Gurunanak Dev 38-29, ANU bt Punjab 34-32, Pt. Ravi Shankar bt Bharatidasan 54-45, Kurukshetra bt Annamalai 87-16. — Sports Reporter
