CPI (M) city unit meet on December 22, 23

VISAKHAPATNAM: The third annual conference of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI-M) city committee will be held on December 22 and 23.

Addressing a media conference on Saturday, city committee secretary K. Lokanadham said that unit to zonal level conferences had already been held and the issues that should be taken to the people identified.

He said that the party had been organising various struggles for improving the lives of the common people and achieved some success.

He said the steep hike in water charges proposed by the GVMC was reduced and the proposal for water meters had been kept in abeyance.
