Alleged women burglars held

NEW DELHI: Six young women allegedly trying to commit burglary in a Sarai Rohilla shop were overpowered by its owner and local residents on Friday. They were later handed over to the police.

Bharat Bhushan lodged a complaint with the police alleging that on Friday morning when he went to open his shop he noticed five women standing nearby. As he opened the shutter, he was shocked to see a woman inside. Bharat Bhushan raised an alarm, hearing which local residents rushed to the spot and overpowered the six women.

According to the police, the six have been identified as Manhori, Ruby, Vimla, Puja, Geeta and Kamini.
