Tension prevailed in the city when angry depositors thronged a private non-banking finance firm on 100-ft Road. They charged that the firm that took deposits was refusing to return the money even after the maturity period. The firm had told the investors that delay in refund of investments was primarily due to problems in disposing of some property.
