Kerala University Revaluation: Applications for scrutiny and revaluation of answer papers of the third and fourth semester B.Tech examinations held in June 2007 will be received up to December 22. Rank-holders: Nisha T. Mohammed of the Government College of Teacher Education has secured the first rank in the final B.Ed examination. Nishakumari K.G. of the Nedumkanda Sri Narayana Training College bagged the second rank. The third rank was shared by Shibu S. of the Nedumkanda Sri Narayana Training College and Tadeus. Research assistant: The Zoology department of the University of Kerala has invited applications for the post of Research Assistant in Insect Molecular Endocrinology at the Centre for Arthropod Bio Resource and Biotechnology. Applications are to reach Prof. D. Muraleedharan, CABB, University of Kerala, Karyavattom- 695581 by December 22. M. Phil exam: Applications for the first semester M.Phil exam (2007 admission) will be received without fine up to December 17 and with a fine of Rs.50 upto December 19. Counselling service: The University of Kerala is offering telephone counselling service, which will primarily target students and their parents. It will be available to the public too. Counsellors will offer advice on teenage problems, family issues, exam phobia etc. The service will be available from 10.30 am to 4 pm at the telephone number 0471- 2302524. Bio-informatics: Applications are invited for the refresher course in bio-informatics for college teachers to be held at the Academic Staff College from January 28 to February 18. Application form and details are available on the website www.ugcasc.keralauniversity.edu. The last date for receiving applications is December 29. Viva-voce: The viva of the third and fifth year LLB (Mercy Chance) exam held in May 2007 will be held on December 17 at the Law Academy Law College at 9 am. M.Phil: Applications for the final semester M.Phil (inter disciplinary) Bio Informatics exam to be held in January 2008 will be received up to December 15 without fine and till December 27 with a fine of Rs.50. MBBS exam: Applications for the second year MBBS part 2 exam starting on January 15 will be accepted up to December 21 without fine, December 26 with a fine of Rs.50 and December 29 with a fine of Rs.250. A camp fees of Rs.200 will be levied with exam fee.
