Free computer education

CHENNAI: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Gandhi Institute of Computer Education and Information Technology is offering free computer courses for unemployed candidates from economically backward section of society.

Applications for the next batch, starting from February next , are being issued at a centre of the Institute on East Mada Street in Mylapore. The last date to submit the filled in applications is January 14.

The Institute’s centres in Mylapore and T.Nagar have trained about 11,900 candidates in courses such as DTP, C and C++, multimedia and Vb.net over the last 10 years free of cost.
