Shivraj Patil visits Guruvayur

GURUVAYUR: Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil visited the Guruvayur Srikrishna Temple on Sunday.

He arrived on a helicopter at the Sreekrishna college ground at Ariyannur around 8.30 a.m. and proceeded to the temple.

He visited the temple around 9.15 a.m. and spent 20 minutes there. Director General of Police Raman Srivastava accompanied the Minister.

Security in and around the temple was tightened in connection with Mr. Patil’s visit.
