Social, mythological dramas will be part of the seven-day fete Rs.5 lakhs for renovation of Anam Kala Kendram Rajahmundry: District administration has planned campaign in big way for forthcoming Nandi Natakotsavam in Rajahmundry. Addressing a meeting on Sunday, Collector M. Subrahmanyam said that they will conduct the Natakotsavams in grand way and publicity wise they want to go in a big way with colorful posters, banners, pamphlets and putting up welcome arches with historic importance, decorating different centres in the City with lighting and other means of campaign from first week of January. As decided, he said that the Natakotsavams will be held from January 18-24 He said that social, mythological, poetic dramas will be part of the seven-day festival and he asked the support of commercial establishments, public sector units and other donars. The Collector said that the main venue, Anam Kala Kendram is going to get a facelift with Rs.40 lakhs. Organising committee incharge of the Natakotsavams and MLC Kandula Durgesh handed over orders of 11th Finance Commission funds of Rs.5 lakhs for the renovation of Anam Kala Kendram to the Collector. Rajahmundry MLA Rowthu Suryaprakasha Rao, MLC Kandula Durgesh also spoke.
