Moga: An undertrial in a murder case escaped from police custody here, police said on Sunday. The undertrial Amarpal Singh’s brother Jaspal Singh, who is also a co-accused in the murder case, also tried to escape on Saturday evening but was overpowered by police with the help of locals. Police later registered a case against Amarpal Singh and police head constable Sukhwinder Singh for negligence. Both the brothers were facing trial for killing one Bhagtu of Baghapurana in April this year.
