Killed in accident

NAMAKKAL: A woman was killed and her husband sustained injuries when a lorry dashed against a motorcycle in Paramathi Velur near here on Sunday.

Police said Marimuthu (60) of Nansei Idaiyar and his wife Ambujam were on the way to a temple, when the accident occurred.

She died on the spot. The injured was admitted to Paramathi Velur Government hospital.

A case was registered.
