Kozhikode: Factionalism in the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) will come to an end after the party State conference in Kottayam, party State secretary Pinarayi Vijayan said here on Sunday. Inaugurating the three-day district conference at the Tagore Centenary Hall here, Mr. Vijayan said a section of the media had unleashed a propaganda that the party was led by two factions, one headed by him and the other by Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan. “Such campaigns will be over after the State conference,” The CPI(M) State secretary said.
