23 schools to be reconstructed in Kovalam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As many as 23 government and aided schools in the Kovalam Assembly constituency have been identified for reconstruction.

George Mercier, Kovalam MLA, said the government had released an amount of Rs.1.31 crore for the scheme. The reconstruction work would be funded by the Central government under the Tsunami Rehabilitation Project, Mr. Mercier said.
