Call for consensus at Sivagiri

KOCHI: Consensus should be evolved among the sanyasis of Sivagiri, said Vayalar Ravi, Union Minister for Non-Resident Indians. Speaking after presenting the M.K. Raghavan Vakkil award to T. Bhaskaran, Mr. Ravi said that the sanyasis should be able to sink their differences. Peace and amity should prevail in a place such as Sivagiri which is the seat of spiritual thoughts and there is no room for any discontent, Mr. Ravi said. The Union Minister also lauded the role played by M.K. Raghavan in different walks of life.

The award instituted by the Sree Narayana Seva Sanghom carries a cash prize of Rs.25,000 and citation.
