‘Bal Bhavan not being privatised’

BANGALORE: Reacting to the Bal Bhavan Society Union’s press statements that the Bal Bhavan is being privatised, Shalini Rajaneesh, Secretary, Women and Child Development Department and Chairman of Bal Bhavan Society, has clarified in a release that the tender given to National Amusement for three years will expire on December 17. The society has called for fresh tenders for leasing the existing infrastructure for five years. Ms. Rajaneesh said that the Bhavan has no intention of privatising and making money but to provide opportunities to children .
